“We have cooperate together as long as 23 years. In 1985 Hardcast Europe B.V. contacted us during the International Heating and Ventilation fair in Frankfort. There was no economic solution to seal the airducts 100% airtight in Finland at that time. The only option was an expensive heat shrinking tape. Eric and Ivo Overtoom developed the cold shrinking tape, a cheap alternative which could be applied in half the time. You can imagine the savings and the reaction of the market. In a very short time we could introduce these products successfully.
In all the years later we introduced many more Hardcast products on the market in Finland. Also after the acquisition in 1998 by Carlisle this policy did not change.
On the contrary, It was remarkable to see how fast and efficient new products were developed and introduced on the market. Carlisle Hardcast Europe B.V. has their research, development and production well organised and also their production is still very flexible.
We see Carlisle Hardcast Europe as a strategic and major partner. Their knowhow about pressure sensitive adhesives is at a very high level and it is good to see their eager attitude did not change in all these years.
